The Anglican Deaconess Ministries approached us requiring a direction for their marriage course materials. The ADM had carefully created the course structure, filmed and drafted the content and had a draft logo.
They needed our assistance with finding the right marketing voice and language to sell the end product. We were tasked with creating a look and feel that would appeal to their market and create an emotional connection for a very emotive subject whilst providing a user friendly platform to purchase the course.
The logo design had to encapsulate a lengthy title and we focussed on creating an approachable font that was casual and created a more natural narrative feel. Given the size of the mandatories we had to ensure it would would work across all applications and keep to the core character of the brand. In addition to the wordmark, we created a house icon, which is representative of the course content and outcome in a simple, familiar graphic.
In addition to the brand, we went on to create workbooks for participants and facilitators to use alongside video sessions, posters, social imagery and DVD packaging ready for sale. We also created all the overlaying graphics and screens placed throughout the video sessions.
The website was an extension of the look and feel of the course collateral with the design having an open, honest and accessible feel.
Creating a logical user experience with a honest messaging and a clear path to purchase was top of mind.
We have integrated physical purchases and digital purchases into the eCommerce site. Users can buy and download the course, or buy the DVD / workbooks with a fully integrated purchase and shipping system.
